Thrift Store Find

July 31, 2011

I don’t consider myself the best thrift store shopper. I’m not always lucky to find something exciting. I usually get overwhelmed by massive hoards of seeming junk (and the odd smell of mixed laundry detergents doesn’t help either). I have friends who have the thrift store treasure hunting gene. But last weekend, I decided to stop at a little local consignment shop I never noticed before, and I’m glad I did! I found these superb heels, just my size, for $8. In perfect condition, and in fun yellow! I’m a sucker for pointed-toe heels. I think I get that style characteristic from my mom. Please excuse the mosquito bite scars.

Please visit The Plaid Door on 40th & Summitview if you get a chance. The little ladies who work there are such darling characters.
