Sometimes I take pictures and never get around to doing anything with them because life gets in the way or I just hate myself and think all of the pictures I took were just “meh.” It’s good for me to go back and revisit some shots I’ve taken in the past with fresh eyes.
Took these back in January when I went to visit an old friend in Seattle.
I feel like I’ll never have enough time to completely experience the emerald city, but I always try to take in pieces of it as often as I can.
Before I left town to go back to Yakima, I decided to stop by a few landmark spots. Not quite sure what I was expecting when I decided to go to Gas Works Park, but the green of the hill when I first entered the park was breathtaking.
Not sure why but someone had laid out a bunch of hula hoops across the grass. I should have asked. A lot of people were out flying kites. It was nice to see people enjoying a day outside in January.
The sun was shining bright when I was here. A rare Seattle moment!
It was so bright, I couldn’t even really tell if I was taking any decent shots.
Herro, Seattle!
Also drove to Discovery Park and walked along the beach. Saw the girl in the red hat and just felt compelled to take a picture. I felt kind of creepy doing so.
