KIMA is making the switch to the new timeline format on Facebook. We needed some photos of the valley for the cover photo, so I volunteered to take some shots.
One was taken over the weekend from a viewpoint near Scenic Drive on the Cowiche Canyon Trail. Two others were taken during my lunchbreak today. One from my friend June’s house (the only other Japanese person in Yakima ;) ) since she has a perfect view of the gap and another from Lookout Point in Selah (apparently also known as makeout point…but I’m pretty sure every viewpoint in the country is dubbed ‘makeout point’).
