The Ropers

Making a cross-country drive isn’t so bad when you can stop and see good friends in the middle. Spent some time in Shreveport, LA, to visit my old college buddies–my first roomie (awwwww) and her husband (double awwwww)–and dusted off the camera to take some family portraits. It’s been a long time since I’ve done a family shoot, and I kind of forgot how crazy little toddlers can be sometimes and how it’s nearly impossible to have them sit still. We only spent about 30 minutes actually taking pictures before the three of us big people decided we couldn’t keep up with the little person anymore. In the end, Grumpy Cat saved the day.
