Sakai…and a visit from Mom!

My mom came to Japan last month to attend my cousin’s wedding and see family…and took a quick trip down to the Kansai area to visit me! I’m so glad she did. Luckily for me, she had a list of places she wanted to see in Sakai, printed out and ready to go. I didn’t have to do any work coming up with things to entertain her. It was nice to actually explore the city I live and work in and to just hang out with my mom. Awww…

The Sakai Matsuri just happened to be the weekend she was in town, so we had to check that out first.
